Micah is a versatile visual communications professional specializing in multiplatform marketing and community development. Their dynamic workstyle is seen in their role as Marketing Content Specialist for the College of Computing at RIT, where they touch all levels of marketing and student experiences initiatives for the college.
Micah is always searching for new ways to grow. Previously marketing for the RIT School of Interactive Games and Media, Micah was promoted to their current position in November 2023. They graduated from SUNY Oswego with a BA in Graphic Design and a BA in Communication. During their studies, Micah held numerous internship positions where they got hands-on experience developing eye-catching graphics and engaging community-building strategies. All of their work, regardless of content, is thoroughly researched to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and inclusivity.

Micah and their team were recognized with an Excellence Award in March 2026 for work on the College of Computing’s first-year experience program: FirstByte. The team was applauded for their significant efforts to student retention, community-building, and successful email communications.

Micah was recognized by the RIT College of Computing for always going above-and-beyond regular work expectations and generally ”being a joy to work with”.
RIT Enrollment Marketing Partners Award
Micah and their supervisor, the Director of Marketing for the College of Computing, were recognized for their collaboration and partnership with Enrollment Marketing Office.
SUNY Oswego Excellent Educational Event Award
Micah accepted the award for Excellent Educational Event from SUNY Oswego Student Life on behalf of the Queer and Trans Outreach Center, where they were the Director of Public Relations for their event “Queer in Conversation”. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to bridge complex or difficult topics about being LGBTQ+ on campus.
